After the Jews are evicted from Anatevka, they must find a new place to go. This story follows the Rabbi and his wife Rifka, as they suffer through life without the people that they knew and loved. As they accustom themselves to life in New York City, they meet with a few old friends, and must learn to live life "Far from the home they love."
